While every day feels like Mother's Day with Grace, this weekend was particularly lovely and I really enjoyed my first Mother's Day. We relaxed all weekend with sun-bathing, swimming, an addictive TV show and even eating out. Grace gave me a lovely card (she is quite the writer in English and Danish!) and a gift certificate for a spa treatment before we go on our trip. Can't wait for that! Her father gave me beautiful flowers and took me out to a new restaurant for dinner. It was our first time eating out for dinner since Grace was born and like a good little girl she slept through the entire meal so Kristoffer and I enjoyed some non-baby conversation.
I am a very lucky wife and mother indeed to have these two by my side!
